Jeremy Kuhn has spent more than 30 years building a career in electrical, instrumentation, and automation work — from residential wiring to some of the largest industrial and oilfield projects in the Rocky Mountain region and country.
He founded Jade Energy Services in 2017 and today leads the company’s estimating, planning, purchasing, client relations, and scheduling across every project, with safety as a non-negotiable priority on every job site.
Jeremy brings over 30 years of experience across electrical, instrumentation, and automation work in residential, commercial, industrial, and oilfield construction, with deep expertise in project management, estimating, and safety leadership.
He previously worked with Kyvek Energy Services, Weatherford International, Pyramid Electrical & Instrumentation, Elkhorn Construction, and CDK Contracting, serving clients including Williams, Kinder Morgan, Enduring, Anadarko, Chevron, Enterprise, ConocoPhillips, Hilcorp, and Harvest Midstream.

Leadership & Achievements
- Founded Jade Energy Services in 2017 and has grown it into a ~$10M/year electrical contracting and automation company serving industrial oilfield, commercial, and residential markets.
- Led company expansions into Wyoming and the Carlsbad, NM market with a new office and yard.
- Oversaw the build of a carbon capture facility for Red Cedar.
- Rose from Electrical Apprentice to Superintendent/Project Manager across multiple large industrial firms before founding Jade Energy, managing multi-million-dollar projects for clients including ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, and Kinder Morgan.
Personal Note
Outside of work, Jeremy spends his time riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing across New Mexico and Colorado. He’s also active in the community, regularly attending local fundraisers. He’s built Jade Energy to be veteran- and felon-friendly, giving people a real shot when others won’t, and he’s just as focused on taking care of his crew and their families as he is on running the business.
